The news comes a day after German consortium Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD was granted the concession of two Bulgarian airports at the Black Sea – Varna and Burgas.
Hemus Air CEO Dimitar Pavlov said the opening of the route must be negotiated with representatives of the municipality of Burgas and the new concessionaire.
Hemus Air services regular flights from Sofia to Varna. The price of the two-way ticket is BGN 240.
